Charlotte M. Prince, 87, of West Salisbury Road, Salisbury died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Harris Hill Healthcare Center in Concord.

She was born October 2, 1925, in Surry, New Hampshire, to Charles and Lillian (Kidder) Matava. She grew up in the Rumney/Wentworth area and attended the Wentworth Congregational Church. She moved to Salisbury in 1939. She graduated from Andover High School in 1943 and the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Concord in 1946 as a registered nurse.

She was predeceased by her parents; her two brothers, Reginald Issac Matava and Eldred Lyman Matava; and her husband, Ray H. Prince, Jr. Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Sharon L. Snow of Manchester and Carol R. Prince of Culver City, California; her grandson, Michael Gregory Noyes of Deerfield; and her great-granddaughter, Olivia Lynn Noyes.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 21, at 11 AM at the HL Young and Company Memorial Home, 175 South Main Street, Franklin, with Reverend Jeffrey L. Stevens officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will follow in Mills Cemetery, West Salisbury.
