Pauline Corson, December 25, 2012

Pauline H. (Fisher) Corson, residing at Greenbriar Healthcare Terrace in Nashua, died on December 25, 2012. Mrs. Corson was born on February 17, 1916 in Keene, the daughter of Lyman C. and Viola (Demary) Fisher. She graduated from Keene High School in 1935 and moved to Andover, where she had been a clerk at Currier and Phelps General Store. She and her husband also spent many enjoyable summers on Bradley Lake, working at Camp Marlyn.

She was a 60-year member of the Blackwater Grange and a member of the Andover Service Club and the Unitarian Universalist Church.

After moving to Milford in 1952, Mrs. Corson worked at the former Quality Shop and Dyer’s Drug Store and was a member of the Rebekahs and other local organizations. Her husband of 67 years, George H. Corson, died in 2004. She also was predeceased by two brothers, one sister, and a granddaughter, Laurie A. Corson. She is survived by a son, Lynn and his wife Janet Ayres of Delphi, Indiana; a daughter, Linda Ayres of Nashua; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held in Proctor Cemetery, Andover, in the spring. Chadwick Funeral Service of New London is assisting the family with arrangements.
