Five Indoor Yard Sales In Franklin On January 26

Donate, sell, or shop to benefit Franklin organizations

Press release

Community collaboration has garnered five locations in Franklin to help you fulfill your New Year’s resolutions and enjoy bargains. Join Franklin’s third annual Town-wide Indoor Yard Sales on Saturday, January 26, from 8 AM to 1 PM to recycle gently used items and shop for bargains.

Cleaning out after the holidays? All five organizations are ready to accept your donations now. These organizations would appreciate your donations to help the environment – and their causes!

With the exception of TVs and stereo equipment, items in good working or usable condition are being sought: household, decor, tools, toys, clothing, etc. will be gladly accepted.

Like a good bargain that helps a great cause? Come shopping on Saturday, January 26, from 8 AM to 1 PM at:

Franklin Middle School, 200 Sanborn Street, Franklin. All proceeds benefit FMS eighth graders traveling on an educational trip of a lifetime to Washington DC. Call Kim Bertholet at 934-5828 to donate items.

Franklin Recreation Center, 124 Memorial Street, Franklin. Coordinated by local scouting troops, all proceeds will benefit the Odell Park Cottage restoration. Table and space rentals are available for you to make your own winter cash by selling yard sale or craft items. To donate items or to reserve your space or table, call Krystal Alpers at 934-2118.

Franklin High School, 115 Central Street, Franklin. All proceeds benefit the FHS students attending the Chem-Free after-prom celebration. In addition to bargains, you can also take advantage of a fun silent auction at the event. To donate items, call Pam Crowley at 455-0424.

Finally, we’ve got two yard sales in one stop:

TRIP Center, Smith and Canal Streets, Franklin. Proceeds benefit the TRIP Center’s new home construction at the Bessie Rowell Community Center. TRIP is commonly referred to as the area’s Senior Center and is run by the Community Action Program of Belknap-Merrimack Counties. Table and space rentals are available for you to make your own winter cash by selling yard sale or craft items. To donate items or to reserve your space, call Nancy at 934-4151.

Franklin Outing Club. All proceeds benefit the Franklin Outing Club’s Next 50 Years committee for the refurbishment of the Veterans Memorial Recreation Area. Items may be donated by calling Kathy Fuller at 934-3296.
