Father of Rosanna Ordway of Andover

Roland E. Letourneau Jr., 60, of Haileyville, Oklahoma, died unexpectedly on November 3, 2015 from a work-related accident. “RL,” as he was known by many, was born in Exeter on August 30, 1955. He lived most of his life as a resident of Epping before moving to Oklahoma about 15 years ago.

people - deaths - 151103 letourneauHe is survived by his three children: Roland Letourneau III of Dover, Rosanna Ordway of Andover, and Amber Letourneau of Pennsylvania; siblings Debra Ann Parenteau of Nottingham, Denise Letourneau of Epping, Roger Letourneau of Nottingham, and Diane Letourneau of Northwood; grandson Damion Roland Letourneau; granddaughter Zelda Marie Letourneau; the mother of his children, Dawn Letourneau of Raymond; seven nieces and nephews; and friends from far and wide.

He was greeted in Heaven by his adoring parents, Shirley and Roland Letourneau, Sr. and brother Ronald Letourneau, among many friends.

Roland was an incredibly talented mason, and his beautiful stonework can be seen across many states. He was a strong-willed man, known for his catch phrases such as, “I say what I mean, and I mean what I say,” as well as his kind, generous soul. He was passionate about riding Harleys and vigorously protecting his loved ones. He will be missed deeply not only by his loving family, but by every person who he met along his journey.

Friends and family gathered to honor Rolly’s memory on November 7 at the Brewitt Funeral Home in Epping.
