Rest of the Town Report: Kearsarge Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

KUUF meets on Sunday mornings at 11 AM in the Stone Chapel at Proctor Academy from September through June. The consulting minister is the Rev. Bill Nelson. Sunday School and child care are available. KUUF has the following purposes:

  • to worship and create a welcoming and nurturing community
  • to support and care for one another
  • to explore, reflect, and grow spiritually
  • to understand our differences
  • to feel safe to share our deeply-held thoughts and values
  • to support collective service to the larger community and to celebrate together our traditions and our lives with all their sorrows and joys

Sunday at 9:45 AM we have an adult education class now studying the world’s major religions.

KUUF helps local food banks, has a meditation group, and holds a monthly book discussion. We participate in the September CROP walk, help those in need through the UU Service Committee and local families recommended by the VNA, help supply backpacks with school supplies to Andover children, and collect funds to support the Kearsarge Regional Ecumenical Ministry (KREM). The Social Concerns Committee updates the Volunteer Opportunities in the Kearsarge Lake Sunapee Area brochure.

A concert is being planned for a Saturday evening in June. Other social activities occur during the year. For more information, visit KUUFnh.org.
