Wilmot’s Town-Wide Yard Sale Benefits Bandstand Committee

Saturday, August 20, in Wilmot

Press release

The annual Wilmot Townwide Yard Sale, sponsored by the Bandstand Committee, the Wilmot Community Association (WCA), and the Town of Wilmot, is set for Saturday, August 20.

“It is going to be the biggest and best townwide yard sale ever,” said Lindy Heim, who is helping to organize this fun event. “Have a look around your attic, barn, garage, and cabinets for items you would like to sell. Maybe you can join forces with a neighbor or donate items to a fund-raising sale already planned by a local not-for-profit group that plans to participate in the townwide event.”

Maps will cost $2 and will be available from 8 AM to noon at the WCA’s Red Barn on Village Road; at First Congregational Church on North Wilmot Road in Wilmot Center; at the Wilmot Historical Society’s Curiosity Shop on the Wilmot Town Green on Kearsarge Valley Road; and at the Wilmot Volunteer Fire Department’s firehouse on Route 11.

Proceeds from the townwide yard sale will benefit Wilmot’s Music on the Bandstand Committee.
