Tucker Mountain School House will be open on Sunday, August 14, from 1 to 3 PM. The new-old iron hitching ring has been installed thanks to Jay Boynton and Luan Clark.

Luan says, “The ring probably is from ‘AA Clark and Son, Hotel Potter Livery,’ which set back from the road in Potter Place, to the right of the tenement house and behind the Hotel Potter. This is the same family business that donated our Concord Coach.” This ring replaces the ring that was stolen last year.

Artifacts and memorabilia will be on display during the open house on Sunday, August 14. Gift cards and Andover Historical Society 2016 calendars will be available for purchase. All purchases go to support the work of the Andover Historical Society. Pat Baker’s homemade cookies will be served.
