Donnette McGill began training in July to take on her new role as the Publisher/Editor of The Andover Beacon. Donnette and Charlie Darling, the Beacon's current publisher and editor, will work together on the paper and the AndoverBeacon.com Web site for the next few months; Charlie plans to retire by the end of the year.
