FSB Softball Tournament a Success

Raised $6,200 for local charities

Thirteen teams ran the bases to support two local organizations at the 23rd annual Franklin Savings Bank (FSB) Charity Softball Tournament held on September 14 through September 20 at Odell Park in Franklin. The event raised $6,200 and will be donated to the Greater Tilton Area Family Resource Center and HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery’s Franklin Center.

Winni Grille was crowned champion of this year’s tournament, followed by Sisti Law Office and Sanel Auto Supply at second and third, respectively. A total of 13 teams participated in the tournament, including PatrAngie, Franklin Savings Bank, Twisted Tea, Sisti Law Office, Winni Grille, Local Provisions, Sanel Auto Parts, Byron Septic, Big Jim’s Home Improvement Center, Gale Insurance, Patrick’s Pub and Eatery, SKR Site Services, and Scared Hitless.

The Greater Tilton Area Family Resource Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to strengthen and empower families throughout the Greater Tilton Area by promoting health, well-being, and self-sufficiency through positive relationships, support, collaboration, and education. HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery is a wellness provider, offering free long-term peer support to help individuals and families manage the chronic disease of addiction. With six centers located in Berlin, Derry, Newport, Claremont, Manchester, and Concord, the organization is working tirelessly to solve addiction in New Hampshire.

Since 1997, the FSB Annual Charity Softball Tournament has raised over $73,200 for countless charities throughout the Central Lakes Region.
