Service Club Thanks Donors and Announces Raffle Winners

Most successful raffle to date

On Wednesday, December 14, 2016, the Andover Service Club (ASC) Christmas luncheon took place at 74 Main/The Millstone in New London. Winning tickets were drawn for the Gifts Galore raffle. They were Pat Cutter, Stu Randall, Virginia Edwards, Susan Monty, Jeanne Tate, and Shayna Berttiolet. The “Gifts Galore” included two large baskets, and one small basket, filled with gifts as well as an assortment of gift certificates and items that were awarded separately.

“Santa’s Elf” Robin Boynton drew the winning raffle tickets assisted by Raffle Chairlady Sandy Miller.

The ASC wishes to thank the following businesses and individuals who donated to this fundraiser which benefits the ASC Merit Scholarship Program: Peter Christian’s Tavern, Clarke’s American Hardware, Allioops Florist, Spring Ledge Farm, Hannaford’s Supermarket in New London and Franklin, Tucker’s of New London, Serendipity Boutique, Flash Photo, Lake Sunapee Bank, Jake’s Market, Blackwater Restaurant, McKenna’s Restaurant, Bass Pro Shop, Crosswoods Country Store, Pizza Chef of Andover, Flying Goose Pub and Grille, Tarte Cafe and Bakery, Bellettete’s, May Garden Restaurant, and Lis Ann’s. We ask the public to please support these local businesses who so generously contributed to our raffle fundraiser.

The ASC also extends our gratitude to the members and craft vendors who donated handmade crafts and assorted gift items for the baskets. They are Judy Evans, Anne Hewitt, Mary Phinney, Eileen Mackey, and Pat Baker – members and craft persons. Also Ron Dunlap, Andrea Murray, Robert and Phyllis Langlais, and Jane Martin – vendors who participated in the Fall Festival Art and Craft Show. If any donor has been inadvertently forgotten, I apologize.

The generosity of so many people made this raffle the best and most successful one to date. Thank you all so very much!
