Blazing Star Grange Hosts Poetry and Pastries

April 8 starting at 6:30 PM

Press Release

Beginning at 6:30 PM on Saturday, April 8, Danbury will celebrate National Poetry Month with its Third Annual Poetry and Pastries.

This has been great fun so you won’t want to miss this event! It is an opportunity for local residents, young and old, to once again read poetry, their own, or favorite verses by other authors (up to five minutes per person).

This year we will be at the Blazing Star Grange where you will have the option of reading from the beautiful stage! Readers and listeners are invited to enjoy delightful sweets.

The event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the George Gamble Library and the Blazing Star Grange. All donations will benefit these sponsors.

The Library is located at 29 Route 104, near the Post Office and is open on Wednesdays from 1 to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 10 to 3 PM. If you have questions, please call 768-3765, e-mail: georgegamblelibrary@nullcomcast.net, or stop by the Library to check out all the new things that are happening here.

The Grange is located on North Road just beyond the Danbury Country Store.
