Bruce A. Wood, 60, passed away on January 7, 2013, in Homosassa, Florida after a sudden illness.

He was born on June 18, 1952, in Manchester, to the late Norman J. Wood and his surviving mother, Lorraine (Pluff) Wood. He moved to Florida nine years ago with his partner of 13 years, Richard Gosselin. While residing in New Hampshire, he was employed by Milford Lumber Company in Milford as an accountant.

He loved animals, arts and crafts, and had an exceptional green thumb. His true passion was spending time with his family and friends. He had a contagious smile and a personality that was adored by many.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jason A. Wood and his wife Heather, of Andover; his daughter, Tiffany D. Dumensil and her husband John, of Manchester; his seven grandsons, Brandon, Deklan, Tristan, Teigan, Devin, Johnathan, and Christian; his two granddaughters, Olivia and Gabby; five brothers, Norman J. Wood Jr. and Scott Wood of Manchester, Wayne Wood of Homosassa, Timothy Wood of Goffstown, Douglas Wood of Glade Hill, Virginia; and one sister, Jane Wood of Manchester; also many nieces, nephews, and his former wife of 27 years, Diane (Paris) Carey of Manchester.

A memorial gathering was held on January 31 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium in Manchester, with a service following in the funeral home chapel.
