In April, 2017, Mackenzie Donovan and her German Shepherd, Rue, had the opportunity to speak at TEDx Keene on the topic of forest protection. Mackenzie has trained Rue to detect the Emerald Ash Borer beetle in chopped fire wood. Mackenzie is a junior at Keene State College.
