AE/MS second graders provided entertainment for the whole school and many parents on May 31 with their musical Goin Buggy. It is a story about bugs – insects and a spider – who are tired of being treated badly by everyone in the world. They sing of their mistreatment, a teased and taunted ladybug, their talents, making honey, firefly light, metamorphosis, and finally march to Washington to demand their rights! It was so much fun to learn and perform, and the message was not lost on the singers. Respect each other, regardless of our differences, and stand up for those who are being treated badly.
