New London – Nominees are sought for the Business of the Year award and Community Member of the Year award, which will be presented during the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce annual meeting on the evening of Tuesday, January 9.

Submissions can be made by email to admin@nulllakesunapeeregionchamber.com. When submitting a nomination, please think about businesses/individuals who have made significant contributions to encourage and promote commerce that enhances the quality of life in the Lake Sunapee Region. Please list and explain at least two reasons why the nominee deserves this title.

In addition to presenting the awards, the LSRCC’s annual meeting will provide a review of the organization’s 2017 accomplishments, which include the hiring of Patty McGoldrick as executive director, and 2018 goals.

The LSRCC event, open to all, is at 5 p.m. in the Ware Student Center at Colby-Sawyer College. Cost is $35 for LSRCC members and $40 for non-members. Register on-line at lakesunapeeregionchamber.com/events/.
