Irene Jewett was honored as a Gold Star Mother at a recent Veterans Day assembly at the Andover Elementary Middle School. Bill Leber and Ron Evans of American Legion Post #101 presented flowers and a card to Mrs. Jewett. Mrs. Jewett’s son Sp4 Stephen Jewett was killed in action in Viet Nam in December of 1965.
