NH Special Olympics

Online holiday auction benefits athletes

Press Release

Special Olympics New Hampshire has rolled out the red carpet for online shoppers this season.  From now until December 7, holiday gift-givers can get the ultimate present for all their loved ones through an online auction.  Over one hundred extra special gift solutions are ready for competitive bidding or instant purchase.  Items include already-wrapped gourmet food and wine baskets, hard-to-get sports tickets and memorabilia, sizzling entertainment and dining certificates, desirable golf and fitness club memberships, fun family outings and more!  There are even unique experiences and gifts available for the people who have everything.  How about lunch with a Governor, or a picture and tour with a Senator?  Spreading the holiday spirit is easy at the Special Olympics Holiday Auction.  New items are added periodically and shoppers can even sponsor a Special Olympics athlete.

“This auction has so many fantastic gifts,” said Pam Langille, Special Olympics New Hampshire athlete, staff member and Sargent Shriver International Global Messenger.  “I hope people visit the auction website and tell others about all of the great items wrapped and ready to go!”  Proceeds from the auction go directly to support Special Olympics athletes in New Hampshire.

Gifts will be delivered to New Hampshire residents on December 15, and mailed to non-NH residents on December 13.  All gifts come with a thank you card written by a grateful Special Olympics athlete.

The auction is sponsored by Bellwether Community Credit Union and made possible by a large number of generous philanthropists, organizations, and supporters from the community.  For details on all the great auction items, or to start your holiday shopping today, go to www.biddingforgood.com/sonh.
