Hanover, NH:  Employees at Ledyard’s Concord location visited the Capital Region Food Program last week to spread holiday cheer to those in need this holiday season.  They presented a donation of $1000 to Executive Director, Maria Manus Painchaud, whose father started the program 44 years ago.  Ledyard’s employees spent the day at the National Guard Armory packing some of the over 4,400 boxes going to 2,200 families in the greater Concord area.
The Capital Region Food Program is a private, not-for-profit, all volunteer organization whose mission is to help reduce hunger in the Greater Concord area through distribution of food to individuals, families and local agencies.  The program collects, purchases, and distributes about 100 tons of food annually at no cost to participating agencies and recipients they service.
