Paint and Sip Comes to Andover

By Susan Chase

In recent years, “Paint & Sip” classes have become popular all over the country as a way to unwind and have fun on a Friday night while also exploring one’s creativity.  Now “Paint & Sip” is coming to Andover.

On Friday, April 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, folks are invited to relax, have a glass of wine and access their creative side at The Andover Hub under the guiding eye of local artist Molly Leith.  She’ll lead participants through the experience of painting their own version of Van Gogh’s “Almond Blossoms.”

The event is designed to be a social and light-hearted evening as each person produces some ‘fun art’ — and learns a bit in the process.  There will also be a piece of Leith’s own work as an alternative subject, for participants who may prefer the experience of painting something more abstract.

The evening will be limited to ten participants, and advance registration is necessary, on a first come, first served basis.  The fee, which includes wine, soda, snacks and art supplies, is $20. To register, send an email to AndoverCommunitySpace@nullgmail.com.

Who knows, this could be the start of a creative career — or just a fun night out with friends.
