Back by Popular Demand-“Paint & Sip” Returns to Andover

By Susan Chase, Andover Hub

The first “Paint & Sip” event, held at The Andover Hub in May, sold out quickly and everybody gave it rave reviews.  So The Hub is scheduling another similar evening on Friday, July 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

In recent years, “Paint & Sip” classes have become popular all over the country as a way to unwind and have fun on a Friday night while also exploring one’s creativity.   At The Hub, folks are invited to relax, have a glass of wine and access their creative side under the guiding eye of local artist Molly Leith. She’ll lead participants through the experience of painting their own version of Georgia O’Keeffe’s painting titled “Lake George 1922.”

The event is designed to be a sociable and light-hearted evening as each person produces some ‘fun art’ — and learns a bit in the process.  The evening will be limited to ten participants, and advance registration is necessary, on a first come, first served basis. The fee, which includes wine, soda, snacks and art supplies, is $25 per person.  To register, send an email to AndoverCommunitySpace@nullgmail.com.
