Free Summer Concert Series Begins in Franklin

Thursdays evenings in Odell Park

Press Release

Through the generosity of Watts Water Technologies, the Franklin Opera House and Franklin Recreation Department are pleased to present a series of free concerts to be held in the Gazebo at Odell Park on Memorial Street in Franklin.
All concerts begin at 6:30 pm. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. In case of rain, performances will be moved to the opera house.
The first concert is July 5 and features Loopholes of Love, a trio that grooves on the roots of American music to bring forth a swinging, harmony-laced good time.
Thursday, July 20 will feature Li’l Penny Band, back for their 3rd performance in the park. This vocal duo delivers a tuned-in vibe that’s sophisticated and modern, yet lots of fun.
Thursday, July 19 features fiddler Audry Buddington. She will be joined by pianist Noelle Beaudin to play Celtic, Traditional and Fusion tunes.
August 9 brings acoustic trio  Just Because, who play an eclectic assortment of Americana cover tunes.
August 16 features the Decato-Sanborn Project and their well craftd guitar music with roots in multiple genres.
August 23, the final performance of the series, features local band Breaking Character. With hits from yesterday to today, Breaking Character has always been a favorite of the summer series.
