New Exhibits Open at Center For The Arts Micro Galleries

Displayed at the Whipple Hall Gallery, James Mudie’s landscape photographs capture the raw and oftentimes overlooked beauty found in nature.

New London NH– Center for The Arts Lake Sunapee Region is pleased to present these new exhibitions in their Micro Galleries with Katie Runde at The New London Inn, Patty Fazio at Bar Harbor Bank and Trust and Sasha Wolfe and James Mudie at Whipple Hall from August 1 through October 31, 2018.  The opening receptions for all three exhibits will be on September 7 from 5:30-7:00 PM as part of the CFA First Friday Gallery Night.

Katie Runde’s work will be on display in the lobby of The New London Inn, 353 Main Street, New London, NH. Katie finds her artistic home in contemporary oil painting, where she uses her ongoing studies in and fascinations with theology, folklore, music, and philosophy to inform her portraits and still lives.
Patty Fazio will be exhibiting at Bar Harbor Bank And Trust, 321 Main Street, New London, NH. Patti is an emerging painter, primarily working in oils. With a bold palette, she is inspired by shape, texture, light and color.
Whipple Hall Gallery, 25 Seamans Road, New London, NH will feature Sasha Wolfe’s charcoal and pastel work that has been described as mystical, peaceful, ethereal, soft-focused, and beautiful. Along with James Mudie’s landscape photographs captures the raw and oftentimes overlooked beauty found in nature.
The Center for The Arts is a volunteer organization that hosts a series of free arts programs on the first Friday of each month in the Lake Sunapee Region. Working with business partners in the community, CFA strives to showcase local and regional talent for the benefit of the artists, performers, residents, and visitors to this beautiful region.
