The Andover Cemetery Trustees would like to make folks aware that we have recently updated our “Right to Inter” forms for Proctor Cemetery and Lakeview/Lakeside  Cemetery.

 Previously, buyers were charged a price for a lot; it was agreed in the signed contract that they would then be responsible for purchasing corner stones/markers, which are required, to be placed by the Trustees.  However, many times folks did not follow through on this and markers were never placed.

It was decided to increase the cost of the burial lots to include the four (4) corner markers. The Trustees will then purchase the markers and the sexton will place them.  Another important change is that all grave digging will now be done by the town contact person.
