Shaw Brothers at Franklin Opera

May 4 show is at 7:30 PM

Press release

New Hampshire’s musical ambassadors for nearly 50 years, the Shaw Brothers will bring their family-friendly New Hampshire show to Franklin Opera House on Saturday, May 4 with a curtain time of 7:30 PM.

Rick and Ron Shaw, from New Hampshire’s North Country, have performed locally, nationally, and internationally since the 1960’s. As members of the Brandywine Singers, they toured New England during their University of New Hampshire days. It was the Brandywine Singers who brought the Coca-Cola theme, I’d Like to Teach the World To Sing, to a world-wide audience.

Their original song, New Hampshire Naturally, was voted New Hampshire’s theme song during the 1970s and The Day The Tall Ships Came was a highlight of the tall ships’ sailing into Portsmouth Harbor to celebrate America’s bi-centennial.

Now, following an absence of several years, The Shaw Brothers return to Franklin Opera House, where a full house is anticipated.

Reserved seat tickets for the Shaw Brothers’ May 4 appearance are now on sale by calling 934-1901 or online at FranklinOperahouse.org. Adult seating is $22, with seniors and children priced at $20

Located in the City Hall building in the center of Franklin, Franklin Opera House is the Lakes Region’s premiere destination for the highest quality live entertainment. There is ample free parking all around the Opera House and no obstructed-view seating.

Please come and welcome the Shaw Brothers back to the Franklin Opera House stage.
