Mr. Rufino “Rudy” Patuleia, 60, of East Andover, died at his home on April 21, 2013.

People - Deaths - 130421 PatuleiaHe is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Rosanne Patuleia; a son John Anthony Cronin and his wife Courtney of Andover; daughters Christina Patuleia of Peabody, Massachusetts; Sarah and Stephanie Patuleia of Andover; three grandchildren, Olivia M. Glines, Xavier M. Gebo, and Zackary R. Vadeboncoeur, all of Andover; two brothers, three sisters, a longtime friend, and brother Jose Varela; and several nieces and nephews.

Rudy loved to paint pictures, watch wrestling, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also liked to make pizza every Saturday, play Spellbound, make people laugh, and always gave a hug when needed. He was a very caring, kind, and gentle man, was well respected and loved by many.

Rudy loved to joke around making people laugh but was a great friend and father to those he loved. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Rudy was employed by Webster Valve in Franklin for several years. He previously worked as a taxi driver in Massachusetts, and a barber and hair stylist.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rudy may be made to the Merrimack Valley Assistance Program of Concord or the Andover Rescue Squad.
