The Andover Middle School Athletic program hosted its annual Soccer Jamboree on Saturday, October 6, on the new turf field at Proctor Academy. The weather was great, and the fields were perfect for a day full of soccer.

Ashland, Franklin, Sant Bani, Campton, and Andover participated in a day of soccer that started at 10:30 AM and ended at 3:30 PM. Each team played a total of four games. This allowed one break in the day for them to enjoy the great food concession stand run by the terrific Andover parents.

With a lot of smiles, the teams all seemed to have a great time. Andover won their first three games, and tied Campton for the forth. Everyone worked super hard and was exhausted by the end of the day.

The players from all towns showed great skills and sportsmanship during the games. The large fields help the players showcase all they had learned from their coaches this year.

When asked about the day, a few Andover players commented. “I had a great time playing against some great opponents” said Carl Hubbard.

“I like playing on a turf field,” stated Annika Johnson. These are just a few quotes that echoed with all teams.

The day was a big success, and everyone had fun. Thanks again to all those who helped out!

The whole team just wanted to thank all the wonderful volunteers and parents who were so helpful in making this such a fun experience. Also, thank you to Proctor Academy for letting us use the amazing turf fields and being so generous. The coaches and referees who were there were much appreciated. Big thanks to everyone who contributed!
