Every spring, the Wilmot Community Association’s Imagination into Art committee searches for blossoming artists in Wilmot and nearby communities. There is so much discovered and undiscovered talent around us, and we particularly enjoy showing off new work at this annual spring exhibit.
Imagination into Art will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24 at the WCA Red Barn at 64 Village Road. The exhibit will open with a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception on Friday from 4:30 to 7 PM, when visitors will meet the artists and view their work. A donation of $15 is suggested.
Continuing through Saturday, June 24 from 9 AM until Noon, the event will feature many artists demonstrating their particular art medium. To add to the fun, both parents and children will have an opportunity to try their hands at making a work of art, perhaps inspired by what they see at the exhibit.
The Saturday portion of the show is free and open to all. Come and enjoy the talent of the Wilmot area local artists and support the Wilmot Community Association.
