Local Art for Sale at Photo Expo

“Floating Leaves,” a photograph by Andover photographer Jay Fitzpatrick, will be one of many exhibited at the Nov. 11 Photo Expo in Andover. The event is free and open to the public.

Fourteen area photographers will exhibit their art and offer it up for sale at the November 11 Photo Expo at Andover Elementary/Middle School. Free workshops on various photographic techniques will also be offered.

The event, sponsored by the Andover Institute, opens to the public at 9 AM Admission is free. Workshops are slated for 9:30, 10:45 and 1:30 PM The keynote presentation by South Sutton photographer Rick Stockwell will begin at 12:15. He will show and explain his New England landscape photographs and share information about specific locations and techniques used to capture his images.

This year’s participating photographers, besides Mr. Stockwell, are: Cindy Benson, Garrett Evans, Joyce Bourdon, Steve Colardeau, Dick Crow, Lynn Tiede, Mahdy Harb, Liz D’Amico, Jay Fitzpatrick and David Redman.
