Center for Arts’ Scholarship Winners to Perform at First Friday

Come experience the amazing talent of the CFA student scholarship award recipients, Friday, January 5, at 7 p.m. at Colby-Sawyer College’s Whipple Hall (on the corner of Main Street and Seamans Road) in New London.
Each year Center for the Arts recognizes and awards scholarships to area students who would like to pursue any form of artistic opportunity.
We are proud to share with you the talents of our 2017 student scholarship recipients: Lily Magoon, Singer; Annie Tilley, Artist; Courtney Lauster, Performing arts; Scout Armstrong, Artist; and Kaitlin Glidewell, Dancer. There will be a special performance by Jorgie Ingram, a 2016 scholarship recipient. Brooke Solomon, a 2015 CFA scholarship recipient, will emcee the evening.
A reception will follow the performances. All First Friday events are free and open to the public.
The Center for The Arts is a volunteer organization that hosts a series of free arts programs on the first Friday of each month in the Lake Sunapee Region. Working with business partners in the community, CFA strives to showcase local and regional talent for the benefit of the artists, performers, residents, and visitors to this beautiful region.
