The Andover Service Club‘s third annual “Gifts Galore” raffle winners were chosen at the annual Christmas luncheon which was held at 74 Main last December 13. The following winners each won a basket filled with a variety of gifts and gift certificates from local businesses. They were Betty Manahan, Sandy Miller, Bruce Blazon, and Stu Randall. Lois Magenau, Chuck Motta, and Kevin Farrington each won a special individual gift.
Gift certificates were donated for the raffle from Crossroads Country Store, Salisbury; Barn Store of New England, Salisbury; Richardson’s Farm and Ice Cream Stand, and Suzy’s Kitchen, Boscawen; Pizza Chef, Andover; Belletete’s, Andover; Jake’s Market, Andover; May Garden Restaurant, Franklin; and Hannaford’s Supermarket, Franklin.
The ASC is grateful for the donations received from these businesses and asks the public to give them their support. Income from this raffle fundraiser benefits the ASC Merit Scholarship Fund. Also, thank you to all of the ASC members who donated gifts and sold raffle tickets to make this fundraiser another success.
The next meeting of the ASC will be on Wednesday, February 14, at 10 AM in the Highland Lake Grange Hall in East Andover. The special program will be “Stories and Laughter” by local storyteller Lauretta Phillips. Any woman – young, old, or in-between – is welcome to join us. Meet new friends, see what we do, and perhaps you will want to join us.
