Andrew “Bucky” Adams, March 27, 2018

 

 

BRISTOL – Andrew “Bucky” Adams passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018, after a brief illness. Born on Nov. 8, 1946, in Worcester, Mass., the son of the late Andrew J. Adams and Jeanette A. Adams, he was raised in Westborough, Mass. He attended Proctor Academy in Andover, and graduated from MacMurray College in Illinois. Having lived most of his life in Massachusettes, he relocated to New Hampshire in 1995. He was employed as a salesman at Great State Beverage until his retirement in 2013.

He leaves behind his wife, Julie (Burghardt) Adams of Bristol; daughter, Jennifer Adams and her fiancé, Kirk Guoid of Massachusetts; son, Brandon Adams and wife, Johnnie of Louisianna; step-sons, Anthony Burghardt of Bristol and Justin Burghardt and fiancée, Bobbi-Jo Cantie of Florida; brothers, Neale Adams and wife, Deborah of Maine, Evans Adams and partner, Lynn Zima of Wisconsin; sister, Nancy Willard and husband, Al of North Carolina; a grandson, Maxwell Guoid of Massachusetts; and step-granddaughter, Taylor Burghardt of Oregon. He also leaves many nieces, nephews cousins, in-laws, dear friends and four-legged children, Xander, Willow, Bella and Booker.

There will be no calling hours or services.

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the N.H. Humane Society in Laconia or the Friends of the Minot-Sleeper Library in Bristol as these were very dear to him.
