Volunteers Needed for Special Olympics Summer Games

June 1 and June 2 Special Olympics New Hampshire (SONH) will hold its State Summer Games at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. The Games will bring together nearly 800 athletes to compete in athletics, bocce, equestrian, powerlifting, sprint triathlon and swimming from Friday, June 1st to Saturday, June 2nd. Athletes have been training for the event for ten weeks and are ready and excited to go for the gold!

More than 1,000 volunteers are needed to make the Games a success. Volunteers help in all aspects of the event including: timing races, serving food, taking pictures of the event and handing out awards.
