Grantham, NH – July 16, 2018 – The Southern New Hampshire Art & Gallery Guide, published by Kearsarge Magazine LLC, has won a Apex Award of Excellence for One-of-a-Kind Print Publications.

The APEX 2018 Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry – in the opinion of the judges – in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence. There were 69 entries in the one-of-a-kind print publication category, and the Southern New Hampshire Art & Gallery Guide was one of nine winners.

The Art & Gallery Guide, first published in 2009 for the Upper Valley area of New Hampshire and Vermont, is an annual resource that provides information about artists and craftsmen. There are directories of artists, theaters and performers, art museums, education venues, and retail stores that support local artists – all categorized by town and alphabetically – to help readers find the cultural hotspots and imaginative artists in each region. The guides include an events calendar and articles on individual artists, art organizations and galleries.

The guide expanded to Southern New Hampshire in 2017, and won the award in its second year of publication. It is available for free online: theartandgalleryguide.com
