Lawrence E Haskins

Lawrence E. Haskins passed away at the age of 74 at Concord Hospital. Larry was born in North Troy, VT, in the winter of 1943 to Kenneth and Irene (Wheeler) Haskins; he grew up there attending the local schools in North Troy and Newport.
In 1965, Larry and his wife Brenda left Vermont and moved to Concord where they have raised their family of three sons. Larry was a mill worker at Rivco in Penacook for 38 years before his retirement in 2005.
In his free time, Lawrence enjoyed being outdoors. He liked hunting in the woods or on a body of water trying to catch some fish. If he wasn’t in the woods, you might also find him walking around his neighborhood visiting with his neighbors.
Larry was predeceased by both of his parents and two brothers, William Haskins and Roydon Haskins, and a sister, Ida Smith. He is survived by and leaves behind his beloved wife Brenda (Hatcher) Haskins of Concord; his three sons, Larry Haskins and his wife Anne of Concord, Kenneth Haskins and his wife Kelly of Boscawen, and Mark Haskins of Berlin; his grandchildren Jessica Haskins, Becky Haskins, Justin Smith, Jacob Haskins, Hannah Haskins, and a step-granddaughter Breeanna Williamson; a sister Nancy Parris of Andover; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 3, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home, 42 Washington Street, Penacook, N.H., 03303. A graveside service will immediately follow between 12:30 and 1 PM, after a procession to Soucook Cemetery on Josiah Bartlett Road in Concord from the funeral home. Pastor Terry Odell will officiate.
