The Highland Lake Protective Association’s annual events were held in quick succession this year due to the midweek holiday.  There was a record turnout on July 3rd for the Ice Cream Social fundraiser and the flares around the lake that evening were impressive as well, with ample participation.  Oddly, the boat parade had only one entrant! Pictured are the 2017 winners, the Kelly-Langlais family from 96 Channel Road, with elaborately decorated jungle and Island themed boats.
