As the new school year begins, so also our church is starting up new programs. The Sunday School year will officially begin on Sunday, September 9 under the direction of Darlene Tilton. It begins at 9:30 AM to approximately 11:00 AM. Please call the Church office (735-5160) or Darlene (545-1676) for further info.
The Church is offering a six-week course and discussion group on “The Church, the Anglican Communion and Us” beginning in September. The exact date is not known as yet. Please join us as it is your opportunity to gather information and ask questions and discuss the pro’s and con’ s of joining with Anglican Church of New England. Contact the Church office for further details.
Do you or someone you know have questions about God or the Christian faith? We are again offering the “Alpha´ course this fall. This 10-week course will be held at the Grange Hall next to the Church starting at 6:15 PM. It begins with sharing a meal together, followed by a video and then discussion. The atmosphere is non-threatening and all questions are welcome. There is NO CHARGE for what could be a life changing experience.
Wednesday morning, Bible Study will commence in September (probably either the 12th or the 19th). We will decide at that time which book of the Bible we’ll be studying.
Don’t forget…PRAYER is being offered up for Franklin weekly on Fridays, meeting at the City Hall at 5PM for prayer and prayer walks through the city.
The Flea Market and Bake Sales continue to be held at the Grange Hall the last Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Contact Donna Thompson, 744-6858, if you have items to donate. We continue to raise money for the Grange Hall repairs and restoration, If you would like to donate towards this work, you may do so by sending a check of any amount to the ACC, (memo – GH restoration), PO Box 211, E. Andover NH 03231.
