New Alpha Course Coming To Andover

Exploring answers to life’s big questions

Andover Congregational Church press release

Are you asking, “Is there more to life than this? What is the purpose of my life? Does God care about me? Who is Jesus? Does God heal? Why should I pray? Why is there so much suffering?”

Have you honestly asked yourself or another person these questions, only to find you don’t have a satisfactory answer?

The world-acclaimed Alpha course explores the answer to these and more questions by exploring the validity and relevance of the Christian faith. The course consists of an 11-week series of consecutive sessions, each one beginning with a meal. This is followed by a DVD presentation and small group discussion where no question is discouraged, ridiculed, or unacceptable. There is time for any questions and open, sincere discussion among the course participants.

Over 13 million people in more than 163 countries in the past 25 years have completed an Alpha course with satisfactory results. Over 225 people in our area have taken the Alpha course in Andover.

Please feel invited to come to our introductory/information evening to see if Alpha is something you may want to do for yourself in this new year. This will be on Tuesday, January 29, in the Highland Lake Grange Hall beside the Andover Congregational Church in East Andover beginning a 6:15 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM.

For information or directions, please call the church office at 735-5160 or contact Linda Wickstrom at 286-8695.
