East Andover Village Preschool April News

Press Release

EAVP would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the generous area businesses and community members who donated to or attended our recent Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle fundraiser.  Our little school relies on fundraising to meet our operating budget, and your support makes our program possible!

In February, we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a “friendship fruit salad.” Each child brought in a piece of fruit to contribute; we cut up and combined everyone’s fruit to make a delicious salad. The lesson is that when everyone gives a little we can have big results!

We have been continuing to enjoy the snow, but are also starting to think about spring as we plan our garden. The preschoolers have some great ideas about what they would like to plant this year and we have started working on a garden map and timeline. Their wish list of plants this year includes pumpkins, sunflowers, watermelon, beans, peas, and carrots.  If you have any seeds from your own garden that you’d like to share with us, we’d love to give them a try.

We  would like to Congratulate our afternoon teacher, Kim Drouin, and her family on the arrival of their new baby, Tuckerman! We will miss Kim this spring, but are excited to welcome Jocelyn Tanner as our new afternoon teacher. We are grateful to Jocelyn for helping us out and look forward to playing and learning with her for the rest of the school year.

Our full day spots are all spoken for for the 2019-20 school year, but we do have a few morning spaces available. If you would like to learn more about our program please email us at eavp@nulltds.net or call us at 735-5105.
