The Andover Historical Society (AHS) announces the following schedule of public events beginning in May and continuing through mid-October. All are free and open to the public. For more information about the Society, go to www.andoverhistory.org.
Saturday, May 4: Indoor spring clean-up, 9 AM – noon, at the Potter Place Railroad Station Museum and J. C. Emons store. All welcome to lend a hand.
Saturday, May 11: Outdoor spring clean-up, 9 AM – noon, at railroad station grounds in Potter Place. All welcome to lend a hand.
Saturday, May 25: AHS museum sites — the Potter Place Railroad Station and Museum, and the J.C. Emons General Store and Post Office, both in the village of Potter Place — open to the public on weekends through mid-October. Exhibit features Andover’s covered bridges. Saturdays 10 AM – 3 PM, Sundays 12:30 PM – 3 PM.
Saturday, May 25: AHS sale of works of celebrated N.H. artist Annaleida van’t Hoff (1909-1997), and items donated to AHS, begins and continues on Saturdays through mid-October, 10 AM – 3 PM in the Gordon-Lull House, Potter Place. See separate article in this issue.
