The Andover Conservation Commission and Proctor Academy are working together to offer several interesting programs in the month of May.

When the Dam breaks
Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 PM at the Stone Chapel on the Andover Town Green

Join us for a lesson from conservationist, biologist and inventor, Skip Lisle (Beaver Deceivers LLC) on the natural history of the North American Beaver and its impacts on the NH landscape.  

Conserving Bats
Thursday May 23 at 6:30 PM at the Stone Chapel on the Andover Town Green

Join Jesse Mohr (Native Geographic, LLC) to learn about the ecology of New Hampshire bats, bat-friendly forestry, and what you can do to help local bats. The presentation and discussion will examine bat habitat needs, current research and conservation efforts to protect one of our best predators of mosquitoes and other insect pests.  

Jesse Mohr is the a wildlife biologist, forester, and ecologist. He is also the owner of Native Geographic, an ecological consulting firm for the New England region. Jesse has over 15 years of experience in conservation, forestry and natural resource inventories.
