The Friends of the Northern Rail Trail recently awarded prizes donated by local businesses in their summer raffle to support trail work on FNRT-MC’s 35 miles of trail.  The winners were picked by 7 year old Sadie Foulds and 8 year old Emma Watkins of Andover at the end of the Potter Place Fair on August 4. The winner of the Trek Bike donated by S&W Sports of Concord was David Harris of Concord. Tom Fee of Belmont won the other grand prize, two nights lodging donated by the Highland Lake Inn, a rail trail welcome center in E. Andover.  Winners of the gift certificates were Dan Fladung of Springfield (Eastern Mtn Sports), Leo Frego of Andover (Belletete’s), Bonnie Fladung of Springfield (Flying Goose restaurant), Alex LaChance of Manchester (JJ’s Market), and Kent Hackmann of Andover (Pizza Chef).
