IMPORTANT CHANGE: Effective Sunday, September 1st, worship will begin at 10:00 AM instead of 9:30 AM. The Vestry thought this would give families a little extra time in the morning to get ready and would allow us to have an early Adult Sunday School without feeling rushed Sunday School for children will begin the week after Labor Day. Prayer walks for Franklin are still underway on Friday evenings at 5 :00 PM. Other churches in the area are getting involved as well. We have been told that there have been some positive results. Also, “2nd Saturday for Guys” (men’s breakfast with speaker) will commence again on October 12. For further information on either of these events, call Bob Grover at 4 70-7248.  The Church will be getting a little “spruce up” soon. We will be having a new carpet installed at the Church. Also, we will be having a new sign made up to replace the one currently outside the Church. This will reflect our new name, new start time, and will indicate our affiliation with the Anglican Church of North America.

A MEMORIAL FUND has been set up in memory of Rev. Jacob Wagner, Pastor John’s father, who recently passed away. He visited us here many times over the years. The monies donated to the fund will be used to purchase needed liturgical items such as Gospel book, altar cloths, etc.  

The Church is sorry to bid “good-by” to Joyce and John Bourdon and Robin and Andy Visser who will be moving to Henniker and Pennsylvania respectively. They have all been instrumental to our Church ministry. We wish them all God’s blessings for their future endeavors.

Don’t forget our special celebration of the Church’s 150th anniversary on September 22nd• If you have historical pictures or articles on the Church, we urge you to bring them with you to share. It will be a fun day with a cookout and activities for kids following the Church service. We look forward to seeing you at this milestone event.
