FAS has been to shelter, care for, and advocate for the abused, neglected, and abandoned cats and dogs of the communities we serve by taking steps to control overpopulation, and providing healthy animals that will be adopted into loving ‘forever’ homes. This step begins to fulfill our mission.

As one might imagine, the current facility has been barely adequate for providing the most basic care and support for animals that are lost or abandoned in the City of Franklin.  We thank those who have contributed toward this effort by donating to the Capital Campaign, and look forward to our new home for our furry friends.

The Franklin Animal Shelter is operated by the Granite State Animal League under contract with the City of Franklin.  The Shelter is a tax-exempt organization. Tax deductible Capital Campaign contributions may be made through the website, franklinanimalshelter.com, or mailed to PO Box 265, Franklin, NH 03235
