Ausbon Sargent Holds Second Woods Forum

April 11 at7 PM in Warner

Press release

On Thursday, March 21, Ausbon Sargent and the UNH Cooperative Extension held the first of our five Woods Forums. We were excited to host 15 landowners who came with a variety of concerns and questions about conserving their property. In addition to a short presentation, there was time left for questions that were answered by both the professionals and by some of the guests who currently have easements on their properties. What a valuable evening! See below for the dates of our upcoming Woods Forums.

Are you a landowner of significant acreage of 25 acres or more?  Join us for the second of our five Woods Forums to talk with other landowners in your area on topics of common concern.

Our second Woods Forum will be held on Thursday, April 11, from 7 – 8:30 PM hosted by Alice Chamberlin and Steve Brown on Burnt Hill Road in Warner. Space is limited and your RSVP is required.

With help from a Northeast State Foresters Association Grant, Ausbon Sargent and the UNH Cooperative Extension will be offering five Woods Forums for landowners to gather together for a short presentation on topics of interest and to engage with fellow landowners on subjects and questions that they choose.

If you have wondered how to handle passing your land on to the next generation, how to share your love of the land with your grandchildren, how to attract wildlife to your property, or how to deal with wildlife issues like beavers flooding a woods road then the Woods Forum is for you. You may choose to attend any one of our five meetings so feel free to select a meeting that suits your schedule or one in a town closest to your property.

Check our Web site this spring: ausbonsargent.org for details on the three Woods Forums scheduled for this summer.

Contact Nancy Smith at 526-6555 or nsmith@nullausbonsargent.org to RSVP.
We hope to see you there.
