Donated Ping Pong Table Arrives at Andover Hub

Thanks to generosity of Stan Boyd-Robertson

Thanks to the generosity of Andover resident Stan Boyd-Robertson, who made the donation, and the hard work of Steve Darling, Paul Currier, and Les Fenton, who did the moving, the Andover Community Hub now has its own full-size ping-pong table, complete with netting, four paddles, and eight balls (colored orange and white).

The table is just across the hall from a Foosball table, donated earlier by the Gould family. A third game table, given to The Hub by David and Anne Hewitt, is awaiting transport and room assignment. The Foosball and ping-pong tables are available for play by area residents whenever The Hub is open (as indicated by the “Open” flag in front of the parking lot), or by arranging a time by calling 735-5509 at least 24 hours in advance.
