Todd Goings Wants to Be a Part of Change as New Selectman

Long-time resident has served on Budget Committee

By Todd Goings

Hello, my name is Todd Goings. I was elected to take David Blinn’s position, which expired, as a Selectman for Andover. I’ll be serving this term from 2020 until 2023.

Most of my life has been spent in Andover – 45 years. I currently work at Proctor Academy, where I have been for 25 years as of October. My position is Grounds Manager. Outside of work, my hobby is taking apart and rebuilding old cars, such as the 1928 Ford Model A that I rebuilt.

As an Andover taxpayer who has served on the Budget Committee, hoping to make a difference, and having attended many Select Board meetings, I felt it was time to volunteer as a Selectman. I’d like to add my skills to help craft changes, and updates, to the structure and operating policies of the Town.

I look forward to serving the citizens of Andover, and to working with the other two new Selectmen.
