You Can’t Be Serious! Ice Fishing without a Hole?

By Dana Swenson
Dana Swenson lives on Maple Street in East Andover, near Highland Lake. With his tongue firmly in his cheek, he decided to try “ice fishing” — but without bothering with a hole in the ice. “Since I have all the other equipment, it was just a matter of using a dry-ice fly and maintaining good footing. Needless to say, my luck was about the same as it is during the other seasons. I could hear the trout thumping against the bottom of the ice, trying to get at the dry-ice fly sitting on top of the ice.” This must be what pandemic-induced cabin fever looks like!
