To learn about the basics of backyard composting, join Nancy Schlosser in her Wilmot backyard on Saturday, June 26, at 3 PM for a workshop sponsored by the Andover Community Hub.

There’s lots of good reasons for developing a compost pile in a corner of your yard, both to benefit your garden and to reduce the amount of food scraps and yard clippings that otherwise end up in the landfill.  Master gardener Nancy Schlosser will talk about how she composts, what to put in the compost bin and what not to, and how those food scraps and clippings can help your garden be more productive and improve the soil.
