EAVP Takes Advantage of Empty School to Improve Building

No summer program this year

By Stephanie D'Amour
On the last day of school, preschoolers Callister, Alice, Jolene, Avery, Lauralei, and  Gunner headed to the woods for an adventure. We really enjoy the book “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen, so we decided to bring the book to life and head out on our own bear hunt! The children made binoculars, and teachers hid a stuffed bear in the woods for children to find. Caption and photo: Stephanie D’Amour

We closed out the 2020-2021 school year with a fun end-of-year celebration filled with songs, family, and food. We had a wonderful turnout to say goodbye to a crazy year.

It was especially hard to wish our students farewell this year, knowing we would not see them all summer. Unfortunately, we were not able to make a summer program work this year, but hopefully in the future we can.

With an empty school, we are taking advantage and making some improvements to the building for a fresh start in the fall. We would like to thank the Andover Community Church for allowing us the opportunity to make these changes and for their continued support to the preschool.

We would also like to thank JA Joy Woodworking of Tilton for their time and donations to the preschool. We appreciate all their hard work and talent in making our little school a more aesthetically pleasing space for children.

Registration is open for the 2021-2022 school year. Email EAVP@nulltds.net for information.
