Andover Receives Grade A for Cardboard Quality

WestRock OCC recycling sends kudos

Press release
Congratulations were sent recently to Andover from Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA). Andover’s OCC (Old Corrugated Containers) load that went to WestRock received a Grade A for its cardboard quality! Grade A is usually reserved for the cardboard that comes from grocery stores because it contains little contamination; it is pure, unboxed material for groceries and is kept dry under shelter). “Keep up the great work!” NRRA said, by not recycling pizza boxes or “rounds” with any food, oil, or grease on them; wet or dirty cardboard; and the like.
